Cobourg Peninsula, NT Private Charter 2005
Cooper Family, Australia
Thank you for organising an absolutely magnificent holiday for the Cooper family. It all went like clockwork, with each day being special. Our tour leader was really great - whether as a guide, friend, butler, mechanic, bird lover, interpreter of aboriginal culture, fisherman, entertainer of the teenagers and much more, he could not have been better. The camp at Coburg is lovely and a real highlight - good luck with its further development. We are so glad that we chose to see the top end the Venture North way.

When we decided to hire Venture North, we had a fairly large leap of faith, given that we had no direct references and knew nothing about the operation. We normally don't make such a large financial commitment without feeling very secure. Your prompt responses and desire to customize the tour to our family's needs, helped make the decision easier, but we still had our doubts. After our experience with you, we would now be happy to act as an independent reference for any future clients. We only wish we lived closer to Australia so we could take advantage of another tour next year.

I want to thank everyone at Venture North for the fantastic experience we recently had on your tour. The tour, which was well-organized, interesting and informative, was an excellent introduction to the Top End and the incredible beauty of the bush. Thanks again for a great time! If you ever need a recommendation, do not hesitate to contact us.

After the long round tour of my small group I could discuss
with them today....
Based on it now I'm happy to send you my feedback , which is very
simply:
Their tour was simply : EXCELLENT !!!
They were very satisfied with your services, they were very happy to
spend the majority of the tour with your professional guide: Alan - who
was not only a guide.... !
They felt that they received good services, friendly atmosphere and also
fantastic great scale of natural and historical information,
they enjoyed their stay in your extremely wonderful country !
So now I would like to say many thanks for the whole staff
and please also forward our thanks and best wishes to Alan too.
I hope that not this small group remains the only one from Hungary
....
I'll advertised this program on our website - and which is more
important : I'm sure that Mr. Göncz and his party will tell many
stories about this great tour to their friends ..... and the personal
advertisement is the best way to promote a nice destination.
Many thanks again for everything
And I hope we'll connect you soon with new groups, with new orders...
Warmest regards from the rainy Budapest

We had the best holiday ever and can't wait for the next one (if you'll have all of us). Seriously it was the trip of a lifetime. It was such an eye opener to see how hard you guys worked and we felt that nothing was too much trouble. There was nothing that could have been done to make it any better - everything was fantastic. Thanks again.
Kimberley, WA 13 day regular tour - Darwin to Broome 2007
Kym Stockman, Sydney, Australia
Now that I have returned home from my Kimberley adventure I wanted to write and thankyou for such a wonderful trip and itinerary. It was the most amazing two weeks and something that I will never forget. I could do the trip again (and maybe I will !). I am definitely looking forward to returning to that part of the world, hopefully not too far into the future, with Kakadu and Arnhem Land also next on the agenda. It really is a special part of the country and camping through this region is the only way to really appreciate it. Thanks for the excellent camping gear and wonderful food that added to the wonderful trip.....I had a wonderful trip and will definitely recommend your trips to anyone interested in visiting northern Australia. I look forward to being a continued client and my next trip.

I would like to thank Kimberley Dreams and particularly young Hugh
(sorry, I don't know his surname), who provided us with an amazing and
memorable 13-day experience in the Kimberleys over the last couple of
weeks. We were very impressed with how well the tour was organised, and
the quality of service we received, not to mention Hugh's impressive
cooking, which continued to surprise us throughout the duration of our
holiday.
As for the scenery, I don't know where to start ... it was definitely
the best Australian holiday I have enjoyed so far, and the perfect
introduction for me as a South Australian to the very different
environment and culture of northern Australia. Dad and I are feeling
very relaxed and refreshed, and I am hoping to return to see more of NT
before long. I would be pleased if you could possibly send
me Hugh's contact details, as I would like to personally thank him.

I really don't know where to start! It's now almost a week since we
got back from what was truly one of the most amazing journeys of our
lives - and I know I'm talking on behalf of all 16 of us. Not only was
the company very special, which became more and more evident as the days
passed but the manner in which we were treated from the initial enquiry
to the drop off at Cable Beach, the way the itinerary was mapped out,
the spectacular and unique places we visited and the great patience and
humour shown by the entire North Australian Expeditions crew, cemented a
more than memorable holiday.
All of us are still numb - we can't get our heads around anything - all
we do is email each other and ramble on about how we wish we were still
on the Gibb River Road or walking to the Mitchell Falls or drinking
around the camp fire - will you ever forget the dinner at Ellenbrae or
that magic time at Winjana Gorge (our prayers worked - the old boy is
still alive!!). I could go on about the croc in the gorge at lunch
between El Questro and Ellenbrae or the non-fishing in beautiful pigeon
hole (who cares) or the rushing Pentecost river at El Questro campsite
or the dramatic backdrop of the Cockburn Ranges as we crossed the
Pentecost - the list is endless. I really feel as though I have come off
a great high and there is a void which needs filling. We all hate Sydney
at the moment but realise there is a great alternative when we need a
break.
The best part is that you have changed our behaviour when it comes to
holidays. No more 5 star - give us North Australian Expeditions every
time! Coburg is on the agenda for May 2006 for the 16. Others have had a
whiff of the success of the trip and are saying they'd like to join us
but ......sorry, it's a closed shop! The Kimberley Kroozers will not be
moved - have Akubra, will travel!!
Everyone joins me in wishing you huge success for this year and the
future - you both deserve it.
Best rgds from 16 very happy campers!
Top End, NT University Study Tour 2005
Dr Michael Grace, Florida Institute of Technology, USA
First, let me say again how much we (the Florida Tech group) all
enjoyed our trip with you guys in the outback of NT. You may remember
that this was the last leg of a long trip up the east coast
and across the top end of Australia. Even considering all the great
things we saw and did over the course of our trek, the time we spent
with you was definitely the best.
See you next year.
Kimberley, WA University Group Art Tour 2005
Dr Sally Butler, Lecturer in Art History, The University of Queensland
The trip that you organised for our group was an outstanding success in
a number of ways and I would like to thank you for the particular
care and expertise that went into our itinerary. Your organization's high
standard of professionalism and degree of cultural sensitivity is a credit to the
Australian tourism industry.
Your selection of our two guides, Willam Collins and Adam Macfie, were the key to the success of the trip.
Their expertise in local knowledge, their bushcraft and driving skills, and their people skills were something that
our group particularly appreciated. The standard of meals was beyond anyone's imagination - to the point that
several members of our group commented that Bill and Adam should publish a cook book !
However there is another aspect for which I wish to commend your
organization, because it is something that
I personally hold very important. Throughout the trip our group was initiated into an understanding of Aboriginal
people and culture that can only be known by people who work closely with indigenous communities. There was no
table-thumping rhetoric or politically correct clichés, but just a very sincere appreciation for how Aboriginal people
make a file for themselves today in the Kimberley and what it is that they value and respect.
I am an Art Historian and I know how important this kind of knowledge is in terms of understanding a people's
desire to express themselves in art and what drives it. I myself have considerable knowledge of Aboriginal art but I still
learnt a great deal from our guides on this trip and appreciate the unique opportunity afforded by having access to such expertise.
The culmination of this aspect of the trip was definitely our time spent
in Kalumburu. Our hosts conducted
an extremely professional tour of the local rock art and introduced us to an understanding of country from their
perspective with much generosity and patience. We were welcomed into the community with great warmth and met many of their
practicing artists. Our indigenous hosts demonstrated a deep loyalty and genuine affection for your organization and we all felt
that there is much potential in your future collaborations that will benefit both the indigenous
communities and those
who visit.
Thank you for all of your efforts and expertise in organizing this trip. I look forward very much to future trips with
your organization.
